Seriously. It's simultaneously one of the most rewarding yet scary feelings of my life--even though I'm not entirely sure it has even sank in. I finally have my schedule for the summer at least somewhat figured out... which leaves time for more blogging!
General updates: I started an internship in the marketing department of a company that owns a lot of the awesome clubs and restaurants in Charlotte. It's not only FUN (seriously--I ended my first day making a slideshow of SATC pictures for one of our events!), but I'm also learning a lot about how the industry actually works, especially with event planning and promotion.
Now for the future. I got accepted into the Disney College Program for fall. I accepted the invitation, but I'm still debating whether or not I actually want to go. I know it will be fun--and it's my dream company... hello?!--but I don't want to put any other potential opportunities on hold for 6 more months of "college-type life" and working at an amusement park... if that makes any sense...? We'll see. I think a part of me is really, really tempted to save up money, move to a new city, and just try it out. Candidates: NY. SanFran. Atlanta. Miami. Seattle. (of course I would choose some of the most expensive cities in the country, right? lol). Charlotte really is a great city, I just have to figure it out. So stay tuned!
